Port Annual Art Exhibition

Port students with their families and carers, Port staff and the greater Port community once again excelled themselves at the recent fundraising Art Exhibition. The 200+ guests who attended the opening night on Thursday 5 September, were in awe of the amazing works of art on display and for sale. Guests were also treated to exquisite finger food catered for and served by the Port Hospitality team and live entertainment by ex-Port student Magnus Singleton-Hooper, acoustic guitarist extraordinaire.

Our thanks go to the Federal member for Fremantle Josh Wilson, whose speech and kind words of support for both Port and this special event were, as always, gratefully received. For the first time this year, the exhibition remained open to the public for viewing and purchases on Friday and Saturday morning.

Sincere thanks go to Art Teacher Dionne Garvey, and her team of dedicated staff and students, for the countless hours of hard work and planning which went into this event. We also extend our thanks to Felicity Moore and her hospitality team for the amazing food and service. Last but most certainly not least, we thank each and every Port community member who shared this special event with us and helped to raise over $8,000 for Malaysia 2019 campaign!
